Corporate design, graphic concept and development of a visual language for »Block Opera«–an independent record beat label, think tank, network and home for producers and beatmakers from Berlin who believe in their craft and vision. Founded in 2019, the label provides the right visual framework and attention to projects from sub-genres such as Instrumental Hip-Hop, Electronica, Experimental, IDM & House, Trip-Hop and Urban Jazz. Since the beginning, we have been in charge of the label’s graphic component.

Bareis + Nicolaus ist ein multimedial arbeitendes Designstudio für visuelle Kommunikation mit Sitz in Stuttgart und Hamburg. Gegründet von Dipl. Des. Felix Bareis & Dipl. Des. Christian Nicolaus arbeitet Bareis+Nicolaus seit 2018 gemeinsam mit KünstlerInnen, Unternehmen und Institutionen aus Wirtschaft und Kultur an innovativen Gestaltungsstrategien und Designprojekten.

Durch eine strategisch-konzeptionelle Herangehensweise entwickelt Bareis+Nicolaus eine klare, moderne visuelle Sprache mit dem Fokus auf Typografie, multimedialen Bildkonzepten und bewegten Inhalten.

Mit gestalterischer Expertise in Art Direktion, Branding, Corporate Identity, Kreation, Ausstellungsgestaltung, Animation und im Umgang mit digitalen Inhalten verbindet Bareis+Nicolaus inhaltliche Strukturen mit Ästhetik und Bewegung, um komplexe Inhalte bestmöglich abbilden und vermitteln zu können.

Bareis + Nicolaus is a multimedia design studio for visual communication based in Stuttgart and Hamburg. Founded by Dipl. Des. Felix Bareis & Dipl. Des. Christian Nicolaus, Bareis+Nicolaus has been working together with artists, companies and institutions from business and culture on innovative design strategies and design projects since 2018.

Through a strategic-conceptual approach, Bareis+Nicolaus develops a clear, modern visual language with a focus on typography, multimedia image concepts and moving content.

With design expertise in art direction, branding, corporate identity, creation, exhibition design, animation and in dealing with digital content, Bareis+Nicolaus combines content structures with aesthetics and movement in order to be able to depict and convey complex content in the best possible way.
