For many years the »Reeperbahn Festival« has been considered the figurehead of the international music industry. Whether newcomers or established musicians–they all meet every year at the Heiligengeistfeld near Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. For this year’s edition of the Reeperbahn Festival we curated, designed and implemented an audio-visual, interactive exhibition »(IN)BETWEEN–Between Music and Graphics«. A new format that focuses on the visual component of music and brings viewers closer through moving exhibits. In addition to numerous moving LP covers by international artists, many posters by well-known designers also find their way into the modularly conceived exhibition, which extends over six overseas containers. The title of the exhibition also serves as a starting point for a five-part lecture series, which is part of the varied event program and gives visitors a deeper insight into the creative work of various artists and studios.
